RAM Homes was formed in 2005 and has completed numerous development projects, ranging from land improvement, achieving planning in difficult circumstances, refurbishments, specialist ancient listed building renovation, through to general new build. We have significant experience in all elements of property design, refurbishment and construction, from residential through to commercial. Our directors have been involved with property development for over 40 years.

RAM’s developments tend to be towards the higher end of the market for each sector in which we operate. RAM has always had an ethos of building sustainably and with future environmental impacts in mind.

We were some of the first developers to use underfloor heating, combined with Swedish Whole House Recovery systems, linked to intelligent controls. We have been using LED lighting & controls since the late 2000s. Our directors & owners have other business interests specialising in waste & energy minimisation for large commercial and industrial customers – this knowledge is applied to all our developments.

We always work to high buildings standards code levels. We often use superior levels of insulation to improve building thermodynamics. We aim to build in a way that reduces the lifetime operational costs of a building. We work to NHBC, BREAM, DEC & EPC standards where they apply.

We typically design & build our projects from concept through to end client occupation. We are very experienced in bespoke requirements and innovative systems, often involving our end clients in the process.
